Brandon Watson, Shareholder, Business Transactions, Gable Gotwals Intellectual Property & Technology Law Group

Brandon M. Watson is a Shareholder in GableGotwals' Tulsa office. Brandon's practice focuses on business transactions, where he advises clients on matters relating to mergers, acquisitions, corporate governance, compliance with federal securities laws (including registered offerings and periodic reporting compliance), commercial and contract issues. Much of Brandon's practice focuses on serving clients in the energy industry.

Prior to attending law school, Brandon was employed with a Fortune 500 oil & gas exploration and production company, working in acquisitions and divestitures.

While in law school, he served as a member of the Editorial Board of the Oklahoma Law Review, a Judicial Extern for the Honorable Timothy D. DeGiusti, U.S. District Judge for the Western District of Oklahoma and as a Research Assistant for Professor Brian M. McCall.

Brandon has been published in the Oklahoma Law Review, the Whittier Journal for Child and Family Advocacy, AAPL's Landman and the Inspectioneering Journal. Brandon was a co-founder and editor of The Oklahoma MLP Quarterly ? a publication focused on master limited partnerships in Oklahoma.

In 2017, Brandon was selected by Oklahoma Magazine as a top "40 under 40" professional in the state.
