Welcome to Tulsa TechFest 2017 Call for Speakers - Session Submission Page.
Please do not base your session submission(s) on the current agenda (if it is already displayed), as this is constantly being revised. We have been known to work some scheduling magic, including adding completely new tracks. If you have a topic you want to present on, do not hesitate to submit it. We will get back with you as soon as possible as to whether it can be accepted for inclusion in the event.
All sessions are scheduled for 75 minutes: 60 minutes for presentation and 15 minutes for Questions and Answers. We do welcome any and all submissions. We are always looking to expand the topics that are covered at the event. Please feel free to think out of the box!
Remember that this event is FREE and open to attendees of all ages, so all material and language must be kept appropriate for all ages.
Every room at the excellent facilities of OSU-Tulsa comes equipped with a screen and a projector with a VGA connection. Wi-Fi is campus wide. 99% of our speakers bring their own laptop, with PowerPoint Slides (an optional template will be provided before the event) and any samples, etc. that may be applicable.
This is a FREE non-profit event to support the community. We even use it as a canned food drive by asking attendees to bring TWO CANS or TWO BUCKS.
All canned food is donated to the Community Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma.
As a Speaker/Presenter you are not expected or required to participate, but if you want - you are more than welcome to be an attendee as well!
Since this is a FREE non-profit community event hosted by an all volunteer staff, unfortunately we are unable to assist with Speakers/Presenters travel expenses, etc. We wish we could.
Help us make a difference in the local community.
As a community event we have unfortunately found it necessary to require our attendees, speakers and volunters to abide by the Industry Standard Conf Code of Conduct.
Please take a moment to submit your session!
If you encounter any problems during submission or have any questions, contact us at email@example.com.
This year, for the first time, we are taking submission via Papercall.io. However, I have heard that some speakers are not willing to create an account and submit via their website.
